Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took them several years. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce.

The fight scenes were tough and stunning

There’s a common saying that LoL’s big budget has gone into animation instead of champion balancing in the game, and this couldn’t be more true. I did not expect this masterful level of animation. After each episode, they found more ways to wow the audience with amazing visuals and transitions. While the series wasn’t entirely canon to the original lore, it’s still an intense story that set up an interesting universe. I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t too impressed with the first act, but the episode 4 that followed it completely loved me.

The characters were great as was the animation

My only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted more and I don’t like to wait. Many of the character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I needed them. I admit that some characters were clear, but not all of them were predictable. Some of them surprised me until the very end.

The instructions for all the characters were amazing

Overall, even though the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was certainly just love and a phenomenal step in setting up LOLCU. 8.5/10..
